Don’t Buy a Couch: the freedom to live sustainably | Kika Mevs | TEDxCowes

Kika Mevs, and her fiancé Dan Deckert, have been living on the ocean for the past 7 years on their small electric sailboat UMA. Powered by the sun, wind, and water, they travel the world, using their skills and experience to test and develop new solutions to increase their capability in search of the next horizon. Their goal from the beginning, was to acquire the freedom to live sustainably and travel indefinitely — the freedom to not buy a couch.
